Wild Rice Recipes

Wild rice has a nutty, chewy texture that we find to be delicious. It holds up really well in soups and stews. We often just grab a handful and throw it in the pot with a lamb or beef stew or even onion soup. It adds so much to a simple meal. Many people serve it with wild game such as duck or goose. You can combine it with other grains and rice to get a completly new recipe.
Try it and see what recipes you can come up with. Send me your favorites and if they pass the Estill Family taste test we will rotate them into the web page. We may even serve them at our guest ranch in Nevada. The Soldier Meadows Guest Ranch features Wild Rice and other local products. We would love to feature our customer’s recipes. Please try some of these great recipes.
