Desert Sour Cream Potatoes

Ingredients:
        8 medium potatoes, grated
        1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
        2 cups grated cheese (assorted jack, cheddar, and American)
        1/3 cup grated onion
        1 pint sour cream
        One 7-ounce can chopped green chilies, optional

Parboil potatoes until done. Let cool. Grate potatoes and add rest of  ingredients. Mix well. Heat oven to 350 degrees and cook casserole until  completely hot, 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on dish size. For an added zing,  you may put in chopped green chilies.

Serves: 6 to 8 people.
